The Meraki MS390 is designed to meet the demands of enterprise applications, providing a simple yet powerful solution through a combination of the Meraki dashboard and robust switching hardware. With multigigabit ports, 480G stacking, and modular 10/40G uplinks, it can support high-bandwidth applications and the deployment of high-speed 802.11ax/wifi-6 access points. Additionally, the MS390 offers fast stack convergence and StackPower for enhanced resiliency. The integrated Adaptive Policy uses an over-the-wire tag to segment traffic into security groups, delivering scalable security. By creating Security Groups in the dashboard using natural language, such as “IOT device” and “Guest,” and simply provisioning security policy intent (e.g. Permit or Deny) between them, operators can easily manage and secure their network traffic without relying on legacy IP-address based Access Control Lists. For efficient power distribution, StackPower utilizes StackPower cables to pool and distribute power across MS390.
